PAI-GOW POKER HELP

Objective
The given 7 cards have to be split into five cards hand of higher value and two cards hand of lower value and for the player to win both hands have to be of a greater value than that of dealer's.

Rules
The game is played with a standard 52-card deck. The game starts by placing a BET. The player can click on 1, 5, 10 or 25 coins at the bottom right corner of the table frame. A maximum of 99 can be bet for one game. To reduce the BET, click on the coins placed on the table.

Once BET is placed, the player can press DEAL to get the cards and continue with the game.

A deal of seven cards is placed for the player. The player has to split the cards into two hands; HIGH HAND consisting of five cards of higher value and LOW HAND consisting of the remaining two cards having lower value.

The seven cards must be set in such a way that the five HIGH HAND cards score higher than the two LOW HAND cards.

The HANDS are ranked according to standard poker rules with one exception: the Ace-2-3-4-5 straight is the second highest straight. Straights rank, from highest to lowest: Ace-K-Q-J-10, Ace-2-3-4-5, K-Q-J-10-9... 6-5-4-3-2. The best two-card hand is a pair of aces; the two-card hand cannot have a flush (since a FLUSH requires 5 cards). Look at the table below showing different types of winning HAND and its description.

Once the HAND are split, click on "SET" to see the dealer's HAND. The HIGH HAND and LOW HAND of the player are compared with that of the dealer to determine who wins which HAND.

If the player has higher poker rank of five cards HAND as well as two cards HAND over the dealer's, he wins.

However, if the player wins one HAND and the dealer wins the other, the game is a PUSH. Also, in case when either five cards HAND or two cards HAND of the player rank is exactly the same as that of the dealer, that is if the HANDS are COPIES of each other, the dealer wins.

Further, if the player wins the five cards HAND but COPIES with two cards HAND, the game is a PUSH.

TIE HANDS
If two hands are tied in rank, following rules apply.

If both have straight flush, flush or straight, the highest card that is part of the hand determines the winning hand. If the highest card still resulting in a tie then the next highest card will determine the winner and so on.

If both have three of a kind the highest ranking three of a kind will determine the winner.

If both have a full house, then the highest three of a kind will determine the winner.

The highest ranking pair in the hand will decide two hands with two pair. If this still results in a tie then the remaining pairs will be compared and the highest ranking pair will then decide the winner.

If both have single pair then the highest ranking pair will win. If this is also a tie then next highest ranking single card will determine the winner. If this still result in tie then the next highest single ranking card will determine winner and so on.

Two hands with no pairs, flush or straight are compared and the card with the highest rank single card will be determined the winner. If this still yields no winner then the next highest card will determine the winner and so on.

The deal is complete when the winner is decided and payouts are done. The player can now go ahead with a NEW GAME. The player can REBET the same amount or else the player can select the BET as for a new game.

"DISCONNECT" helps the player to discontinue playing temporarily. We recommend players to DISCONNECT every time they leave their game, though for a short time, to avoid another player accessing your account.

"EXIT" helps the player to quit the game.

The account of money transaction during the game will be maintained and it will be carried forward to the next game the player plays or the next time the player comes to play any of the games, once the player EXITs the game. (This facility is available for games played with REAL MONEY and not included in DEMO VERSION.)

Besides this, to facilitate beginners, there is also an ongoing help, at the left side of the table.

Payout
If both hands beat the dealer's hands, the player receives "even money" on their bet (minus a 5% vigorish or house commission).

When the dealer's two hands beat the player's two hands, the player loses the BET money.

Finally, when dealer and player wins either hands, that is in case of PUSH, the player gets back his BET amount.
